THE NEPHROLOGY SOCIETY

HON. SECRETARY MESSAGE

Dr. Pranaw Kumar Jha

Greetings to
all the dear members!

First and foremost, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the society for placing faith in me and entrusting me with the important role of society secretary. The Nephrology Society has come a long way since its establishment by its initial pillars who had a great vision. It has been nurtured by its past office bearers who toiled hard to take TNS to the place where it proudly stands today. Its growing popularity is well evident by the increasing strength of the society.

Taking the baton from the previous governing body members who have done an excellent job we strive to take TNS to new heights. We plan to achieve this by a three-pronged approach of academics and research, spreading awareness about kidney disease and social welfare. Society has a busy academic calendar consisting of monthly meets, regular CMEs, and conferences. We plan to put policies and guidelines in place to deal with various aspects of kidney diseases in Central India. We aim to promote research by sharing experiences and conducting multicenter studies. Understanding social responsibility, TNS has plans to organize regular camps and awareness programs.

We eagerly look forward to the opportunity bestowed upon us and try to fulfill the role with zeal and enthusiasm. The secretariat is committed to advance the cause of society and represent society at various levels.  In this regard, the help, support, and feedback of the society members is very  important.

A new look website is here at your disposal to assist you in this journey. It provides ease of navigation, has section on patient education, educational archives for doctors and technicians, dialysis center map and information for patient and many other things to explore. I request everyone to make best use of it and provide us with regular feedbacks for its improvement.

Under the presidentship of Dr. Monali Sahu the new governing body would put all the efforts in making the society a guiding light for patients and doctors for anything and everything concerned with kidney diseases.

Let’s achieve our common goal of improving the Kidney health for everyone everywhere.
