History Of TNS
The Nephrology Society is a group of Practicing Nephrologists and clinicians in Central India. It was founded in 1997 and was named the ‘Central India Nephrology Society’. Dr. Harsha Salkar was the founding President and Dr. Dhananjay Ookalkar was the founding secretary under the expansive patronage of Dr. Balswaroop Chaubey, the first Nephrology Practitioner from Central India.
Aims of The Nephrology Society
- Increase fraternity amongst its members.
- Enhance the skills of its members by organizing Conferences, Update Meetings, CMEs, and Workshops.
- Spread knowledge and awareness regarding Nephrology by conducting Update Meetings for Physicians and General Practitioners and through various Publications.
- Nephrology Education
- Upgradation of Nephrology Services to the Society.
